Why is sustained energy important to you?
I'm sure sustained energy is important to pretty much everyone! Beyond the work I do as a dietitian and nutrition coach, plus food and recipe blogging, I’m a mom, so I need all the energy I can get to stay energized for busy days.
What role does protein play in your life?
I’m a big runner, and distance runners in particular are at an increased risk of not eating enough protein. The more mileage I log in a week, the more protein I crave, which makes sense because my body needs it to repair muscle damage from exercise! Consuming enough protein is essential to make sure I'm feeling and performing my best.
Why is it important to have goals?
Goals give us a purpose! I know it's personally always helpful and more fun for me to have something concrete to work towards vs. a more broad, vague goal. I'm really looking forward to being able to get back to in-person running races - it's so motivating to have an event on the calendar to prepare for!
